History
The Londonderry Cups were originally presented to the Air Ministry Golfing Society in 1920 by the Marquis of Londonderry, first President of the Society. Following the formation of the Ministry of Defence in 1964, the Society name was changed to the Adastral Golfing Society. The trophies were passed to the RAFGS following the winding up of the Adastral Golfing Society and were first presented to the winners of the Pairs Greensomes Competition at the Spring Meeting in 2023.
