    RAFGS vs West Hill Golf Club - West Hill Golf Club 

    Our first match of the season is at West Hill Golf Club - one of the famous Woking 'three Ws'.

    The match is played over 18 holes of 4BBB, followed by lunch in the clubhouse.

    Royal Air Force GS vs Aero GS - Denham Golf Club 

    A long-established match between the two Societies, with two trophies at stake.

    The morning round for the Keith Davies Cup is played as 4BBB over 18 holes, while the afternoon competition for the Piercey John Quaich is played over 9 holes of Greensomes.

    RAFGS v Henley Golf Club - Henley Golf Club 

    Another long-established fixture, the match at Henley Golf Club is played as 18 holes of 4BBB, followed by dinner in the clubhouse.

    Spring Meeting - Luffenham Heath Golf Club 

    Our first meeting of the year is held at the the superb Luffenham Heath Golf Club.

    The day always attracts a large field and we play 18 holes of individual Stableford in the morning and 18 holes of Greensomes in the afternoon.

    Scottish Tour - Lossiemouth 

    The event is a 72 hole individual Stableford competition, playing at at Moray (Lossiemouth), Elgin, Hopeman and Forres Golf Clubs. As well as the individual Stableford round in the mornings, there are also optional afternoon rounds playing a variety of team formats.

    RAFGS v Sonning Golf Cub - Woodhall Spa Golf Club 

    The first of two matches against Sonning Golf Club, with the 'home' leg at Woodhall Spa Golf Club.

    After the opening round on the Bracken course, we enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Petwood Hotel (known as the home of 617 'Dambuster' Sqn). The second round the following morning is played over the Hotchkin course, commonly rated as England's finest inland course.

    RAFGS v Hunstanton Golf Club - Hunstanton Golf Club 

    Another of our matches that is now played over two days. Hunstanton is a fine links course on the Norfolk Coast, with a traditional '9 holes out' and 9 holes back' layout.

    The first round of foursomes is followed by dinner in the clubhouse, with the second round the following morning.

    RAFGA Pairs Open - Lincoln Golf Club 

    The first of four events which are run by the RAF Golfing Association that are open to members of the RAFGS who are also members of the RAFGA.

    This Pairs event will be held at Lincoln Golf Club and entry is via the RAFGA Competition Portal.

    RAFGS v Royal Navy Golfing Society - West Sussex Golf Club 

    Our match against the Royal Navy at West Sussex Golf Club was traditionally played as two rounds of foursomes.

    Only 2-ball play is permitted at West Sussex and in 2025 we trialled a new format, with the match played as a one round of 12 singles matches, followed by lunch. This proved to be very successful and therefore we will continue with this format in 2026.

    RAFGS v Royal Air Force - Peterborough Milton Golf Club 

    This match is an opportunity for RAFGS members to test their ability against the players and support staff in the current RAF team squad.

    The match is played as two 18 hole rounds of singles matchplay, with all matches to the 18th as the competition is based on the number of holes each team is 'up' over the 36 holes.
