This is the story of the first 100 Years of the RAF Golfing Society as created by the author, RAFGS member Steve Baxendale, following a period of 10 years of meticulour research. Much of the data for the earlier years had been lost when the then Secretary's house was destroyed during WWII. The recent research has recovered some of the information, but much more may still be available within the historical RAF archives.
