Format: 36 holes of 4BBB, competing for the Middlemist Comet Trophy.

The first of two two-day matches against our friends at Sonning Golf Club, when we host the match at Woodhall Spa Golf Club. The return fixture at Sonning Golf Club will be played on 27-28 August.

The format for the event has teams of 12-a-side playing two rounds of 4BBB - the first over the Bracken course on the afternoon of 20th May and the second over the renowned Hotchkin course on the morning of the 21st. We now have a new trophy for this event, the 'Middlemist Comet', which is currently held by Sonning. 

Accommodation is at Petwood Hotel, famous for having been the home of 617 'Dambuster' Sqn, now based at nearby RAF Coningsby. The dinner at the Petwood on the evening of the 20th is a very sociable event, but possibly adds to the challenge of playing the Hotchkin course the next day!
